Uncle Petes used to be a favorite place of mine, but they're going downhill, and fast.
The view is wonderful, but the wait staff is highly questionable. They wear sandals and open toed shoes, along with tank tops with no sleeves (visible armpits), and many do not pull their hair back....all huge health code no-nos. Our last waitress was quite pregnant and her tank top didn't even cover her belly, it was disgusting.
Secondly, both me and my partner have had food poisoning there 3 times, once myself and twice him. At first we thought it was something else, or just one of those rare things, but after the 3rd time, that's it, they're off our list of eateries. If their food continually makes people sick (as it has some of our friends, too), what is going ON in the kitchen? There's no excuse for it.
Sad to see it go, but no thank you.
